Our Policy
Furry Murray Policies & Procedures
We have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any given time who’s pet(s) are aggressive and/or disrupts our friendly and safe environment.
Meet & Greets are available only on Saturday mornings between 9am - 11am by appointment only.
Daycare or Overnight Trial is required for your pet(s) before initial stay to determine if we are able to take them for future stays. We use this time to learn about your pups social & behavioral temperament. It also gives you and your pup a chance to “sniff us out".
Some cases, we may refer you to a different service that better suits your pup's needs.

Vaccinations Requirements: Rabies, DHLPP or DAPP+Lepto and Bordetella. Influenza is highly recommended but not required at this time. All vaccinations must be current or at least a minimum of 7 days prior to boarding or daycare. It is the owners responsibility to get necessary forms and updated vaccinations documents submitted to us prior to drop off date.

Spayed/Neutered Pets: We do take dogs that are not spayed/neutered but an additional $5 fee will be applied per day. Also we do NOT take female dogs when they are in HEAT (bleeding).

We are a Flea & Tick Free Environment: Flea & Tick medication is required if pet will be staying at Furry Murray. We do not except flea collars or sprays, as they are not effective. If pet currently is not on any flea & tick medication, we will provide it for an additional charge at time of drop off. Good for 30 days & waterproof. If your pet shows signs of fleas and/or ticks, your pet will be given a flea bath at an additional cost to you. Your pet is staying in a home, so we ask that you please bring a clean pet. Please check your pet thoroughly before drop off. Please ask for a list of acceptable flea & tick medication.
Drop Off & Pick Up Times are by scheduled appointment time only. Drop offs are between 7am - 6pm & pickups before 10am, Daycare will be applied if pickup is after 10am. (Closed All Sundays & Holidays)

After Hours: Any after hours scheduled appointment pickups or drop offs, an “After Hours Fee” of $25 will be applied. Before 7am (6-7am) or After 6pm (6-7pm).
Reservations: There will be a 20% reservation fee charge at the time of booking. This fee will be applied towards your balance.
Pet Sitting Cancellation Policy: For pet sitting we require a 14 day advance notice of cancellation in order to receive refund of deposit. *Any stays cut short, you will still be responsible to pay for the remaining stay.
Holidays: Additional $15 per day holiday fee will be applied per service, per pet, if it falls on a holiday and/or holiday weekend.
House Visits & Walks Cancellation Policy: We require a 24 hour notice for cancellation of house visits and walks, otherwise you will still be charged.

Lockbox Policy (For House Visits/Walks): We can provide lockboxes for an additional one time fee. Once it’s in your possession, we’re not responsible if it gets lost, stolen or misplaced.

Daycare Cancellation Policy: We require a 48 hour notice for cancellation of daycare, otherwise you will still be charged.

We recommend during peak season, a two week or more advance notice for daycare or pet sitting.
